The materials we use for all our column and sleeper retaining walls are a combination of concrete footings, with either timber or steel posts to house the sleepers and to retain the ground. The sleepers are either wood (pine or red gum) or concrete.

Concrete sleepers are comparable on price with traditional sleepers and as they are made from concrete, they are a perfect long-term solution, as there is no need for ongoing maintenance. We can source concrete sleepers in a range of colours and patterns that give them the appearance of wood. So, you can have a traditional looking wood retaining wall without having to worry about any maintenance.

Natural stone retaining walls

The equipment we have at our disposal enables us to create a natural style retaining wall built by moving existing earth into form and then adding a range of rocks, this type of retaining wall suits rural properties as it offers low to no ongoing maintenance, whilst aesthetically it adds a natural looking flow to the area whilst serving a purpose.
